Boy, 6, and man, 35, are killed after a driver ploughs a pickup truck through a Kansas youth soccer game
The 34-year-old driver from Garden City had two children in her pickup truck, and her own child had a game on a different field at Wichita's Stryker Sports Complex. The 6-year-old boy and the 35-year-old man who were killed were both from McPherson but had no family connection. Ten further people sustained traumatic injuries, among them five children aged five to nine. Police say a motive has yet to be established.
Police Capt. Aaron Moses said the woman is in custody and has been cooperating with investigators.
Parents pulled her from the truck as she cried 'Oh my God, what have I done?!'
An off-duty firefighter ran to help and came back with blood on his hands.
