Police hunt woman who tried to 'grab' girl, 7, at a Tube station then claimed her DAD was the kidnapper
British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a blonde woman dressed in black and apparently carrying a bottle of wine, after she approached a seven-year-old girl at West Ham Underground station at around 8.30pm on Thursday 15 October and tried to take her hand. When the girl and her father moved away, the woman told bystanders that the father was kidnapping his own child, then left the scene before police arrived.
The woman's jacket has a shoulder patch in the shape of an inverted triangle, and she was wearing a baseball cap.
Detective Constable Chris Petty said officers are 'doing all we can to identify the woman'.
