Woman who ran a brothel 'CONVEYOR BELT' of 27 trafficked women - who worked for nothing - is jailed for five years and four months

More than £135,000 passed through the 62-year-old's hands between May 2025 and January 2026, much of it sent on to accounts in China, while the women who earned it got nothing. Up to 11 men a day visited the South Leicester address, one hub in a network that rotated victims between brothels across the country every week.

Detective Constable Natasha Panchal said the women 'were treated as commodities' in an operation 'run for profit'.

Officers recovered several mobile phones holding the adverts and large amounts of sexual paraphernalia at the Leicester premises.

Leicestershire Police's Detective Constable Natasha Panchal hopes the sentence 'sends a strong message' to anyone exploiting women.
