Ivanna Lisette Ortiz has been indicted on attempted murder and other charges after allegedly firing at Rihanna's mansion while the singer, partner A$AP Rocky, and their three young children were inside. The Los Angeles District Attorney said it was 'pure luck' that nobody was killed. Ortiz pleaded not guilty and had her bail set at $2.65 million.
Ortiz faces 10 counts of assault with a weapon and three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, in addition to the attempted murder charge, and could face life in prison if convicted.
Prosecutors said Rihanna and 'several other people' were present when shots were fired, with children aged four, three, and one inside the home.
District Attorney Nathan Hochman said: 'Shooting at an occupied home is a serious, violent crime that is both reckless and dangerous.'
