Woody Harrelson and Wimbledon champions sign open letter urging Burnham to probe Covid vaccine harms

Woody Harrelson has joined former Wimbledon champions Pat Cash and Peter Fleming in adding his name to an open letter addressed to Prime Minister Andy Burnham, pressing for an independent inquiry into Covid vaccine safety. Organised by cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhotra, the letter calls on Burnham to ensure the evidence is subjected to rigorous examination rather than any predetermined conclusions being accepted. Malhotra has previously given testimony at a US Senate hearing on vaccine harms and has kept in direct contact with Burnham on the matter since the Covid rollout.

Professor Angus Dalgleish, emeritus professor of oncology at St George's, University of London, also signed the letter and likewise appeared before the US Senate hearing.

Dr Malhotra has a longstanding personal connection with Burnham, who previously endorsed Malhotra's bestselling book 'The Pioppi Diet'.

The letter has drawn support from a broad coalition of doctors, scientists and health professionals, who contend that unresolved questions about vaccine safety demand proper scrutiny.
