Worksop teen who raped two women and held girl captive for a month gets 15-year extended sentence

Lucan Wright, 20, from Worksop, has been ruled a dangerous offender and given an extended 15-year sentence for raping a teenage girl and an adult woman, repeatedly, when he was just 17, then holding a third victim, another teenage girl, captive for nearly a month while strangling and threatening her.
Wright has been placed on the sex offenders' register for life and banned from contacting all three victims.
'The bravery they showed played a critical role,' said DC Buckley of the three victims coming forward.
Police say tackling violence against women and girls remains a key priority, hoping more victims will report.
