Wyoming mother of two posted 'Success for me, happens in silence' days before vanishing without picking up her kids
Kandice Gunter, 30, was last seen Thursday morning in Natrona County, Wyoming, and had not contacted her family since 10:41 a.m. Wednesday, when she and sister Kayla spoke by phone with no sign anything was wrong. Police are hunting a gray 2016 GMC Canyon pickup bearing Wyoming temporary registration, and her cellphone last pinged along Highway 387 near the Natrona County line around 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Gunter had moved from Nevada to Casper just a month earlier to be closer to her children, ages 9 and 6, and was staying in their father's home.
Her phone also pinged near Gillette around noon Wednesday — roughly two hours after her final call with Kayla, who lives 930 miles away in Nevada.
Kayla told reporters the sisters normally spoke at least three times a day, making the silence instantly alarming: 'It's totally out of character for her not to show up.'
