'You've embarrassed me': Meghan lashed out at designer Roland Mouret after his team called Kate's stylist by mistake

French designer Roland Mouret reveals in his forthcoming memoir that Meghan told him she could never wear his clothes again after his staff contacted Kate's stylist at Kensington Palace instead of Meghan's own team to arrange the return of borrowed dresses. Mouret writes that Meghan called him in fury, declaring the blunder had humiliated her in front of the Princess of Wales's office. The memoir, 'I Am Roland Mouret: The Butcher's Boy Who Dressed the World', is due out on 22 October.
Mouret says he apologised but Meghan refused to accept it, telling him: 'You know now I can never wear your clothes again.'
He later spotted Meghan wearing what he called a 'cheap high street copy' of one of his designs and texted her that she was being 'ridiculous — come back.'
The pair have since reconciled — Meghan wore a Roland Mouret strapless navy dress in promotional photos for her 'As Ever' brand earlier this year.
