Yusuf and Campbell call each other liars in furious Question Time confrontation, after Reform chairman brands him a 'war criminal'

The BBC Question Time clash between Yusuf and Campbell escalated into mutual accusations of lying, with Campbell insisting six separate inquiries had examined the claims and "not one of them found that we lied," while Yusuf refused to back down from his assertion that Campbell had "war criminal" on his hands over Iraq. Fiona Bruce twice had to physically intervene as the pair spoke over one another, at one point raising her voice and holding out her hands to separate them.
Yusuf told Campbell: 'If there was any justice in this world, you and Tony Blair would be in jail.'
Campbell's post-show riposte: Yusuf had more chance of 'captaining the Sri Lankan cricket team' than becoming Home Secretary.
Lib Dem deputy leader Daisy Cooper broke in to call the Iraq and Brexit re-runs 'depressing' as a cost of living emergency goes unanswered.
