Zack Polanski slumps to the lowest rating of any party leader after a 'bruising month' over 'Zionism is racism' row

An Ipsos survey finds 52 per cent of Britons now view the Green leader unfavourably, up six points in a month, with only 16 per cent positive. His net score has crashed to minus 36. Even under-35s are deserting him, falling from plus 16 in April to plus two. Among 2024 Labour voters he has gone from plus seven to minus 24.

Jewish Greens leader Vivien Lichtenstein wants Polanski gone and may quit the party.

Polanski told Laura Kuenssberg: 'I don't think any country has a right to exist.'

Labour is warning council Green partners that they must either repudiate the motion or face the loss of coalition support.
