Volodymyr Zelensky has accused the US of failing to pressure Moscow, warning that without "strong signals" from Washington, "Putin is doing well" and can pursue his goal of occupying Ukraine unchallenged. The Ukrainian president said Tuesday's midterm results will shape American attitudes toward Russia, future economic deals with the Kremlin, and ultimately the trajectory of the war.

Polls give Democrats over a 90% chance of flipping the House and a 70% chance of retaking the Senate.

Trump has already warned he will veto Democratic legislation, saying: 'They want to make a deal.'

Zelensky said the US 'can't be on Putin's side' if it understands Russia's goal is to 'occupy and destroy' Ukraine.
