Zelenskyy blasts 'planned operation' to slow down Starlink in Ukraine as sources claim Elon Musk pitched the idea to Trump
Elon Musk publicly blamed President Donald Trump for the throttling, insisting any change needed Pentagon sign-off. But Musk reportedly took the speed-limit plan to Trump, who reportedly 'agreed'. 'The reality is that they were both in it,' one person reportedly said. The curbs hit Starshield, the military version of the network, during Trump's row with Volodymyr Zelenskyy over Ukraine's strikes on Russian refineries.
Zelenskyy called the restriction a 'dangerous and unpleasant surprise' for his armed forces.
Republican senators Susan Collins, John Cornyn, Lisa Murkowski and Thom Tillis want a Pentagon investigation.
Trump branded Kyiv's refinery strikes 'a disgrace' and called Zelenskyy 'more difficult to deal with than Putin'.
