Zelenskyy says the US gave no warning of Russian strikes on Kyiv that killed a woman overnight

Ukrainian president Zelenskyy accused Washington of a 'denial of reality' as his dispute with Trump over what he described as US backing for Moscow intensified. Russian ballistic missiles and drones hit Kyiv, leaving one person dead and eight wounded, with a subway station among the targets. Energy infrastructure across 11 Ukrainian regions was hit, leaving tens of thousands without power.

An airport shut down and NATO warplanes were scrambled during the attack.
