Navpreet Singh, 26, was expecting a child with his wife when he was struck with an iron rod, having kicked a headlight on Jashan Singh's Mercedes before being run down at Phoenix Park. Jashan Singh then swapped clothes with co-defendant Mohit Singh, 18, at a Willenhall industrial estate. Phone data tracked him to the vicinity of Coventry, Heathrow and Stansted airports in the period leading up to his arrest in Bicester. He will be sentenced on 30 November.
Jashan Singh insisted in court he never knew he had run Navpreet over.
His account to police changed three times, the jury heard.
Detective: Navpreet 'was not someone who was going out looking for trouble.'
