Faiser Hussain, who helped gunman Mohammed Ali burn a stolen getaway car minutes after a fatal Sheffield shooting, has been jailed for four years after almost two decades in Pakistan. Ali fired into a silver Volkswagen Bora on Abbeyfield Road in June 2006, killing Ibrahim Ilyas, 20, and injuring Kashif Nasim and Tahir Younis.

Hussain 'immediately became part of a plan' requiring 'a high level of sophistication and co-ordination', the judge said.

'That's it, you're dead, I'm gonna kill you,' Ali was heard threatening earlier that day.

Ali, arrested in Middlesbrough hours after the shooting, is serving life with a 30-year minimum term.
