Jack Moore, convicted of raping a girl under 13 across a two-year abuse campaign, has been handed a 27-year extended sentence including five years on licence.

Jack Moore, 36, from Moulton, has been handed a 27-year extended sentence at Northampton Crown Court for a two-year campaign of sexual abuse against a girl under 13. The term is 22 years behind bars plus a five-year licence extension, a structure reserved for offenders deemed extremely dangerous. A jury convicted him on all 10 counts in May, including two of rape and one of attempted rape, after the girl came forward to Northamptonshire Police in January 2023.

'Nothing will ever make the girl forget what Moore did to her,' DC Webb said after sentencing.

Moore also forced the girl to watch pornography and was convicted of assault by penetration.

Webb urged other victims to come forward: 'we will listen to you, believe you and support you.'
