Terms of Use

Last updated: 31 July 2026

1. About these terms

The Newshound is operated by Sesha Systems UK Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number 15818753), correspondence address 45 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7BG. By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the service is

The Newshound is a news-aggregation and discovery service. We collect publicly available headlines from third-party news publishers, group and summarise them, and link you to the original articles on the publishers’ own sites. We are not the author or publisher of the underlying news reports, and the source outlets are identified on each story.

3. Accuracy and no reliance

Summaries are generated to help you find and compare coverage and may contain errors, omissions or simplifications. They are not a substitute for the original reporting. Content is provided “as is” for general information only; you should not rely on it for any decision without checking the original sources. We do not endorse the views expressed in the articles we link to.

4. Third-party links

Links take you to websites operated by others. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices of those sites; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial reading. You must not: use automated means to scrape, copy or harvest the site at scale; attempt to breach the access controls or security of the site; misuse the service to infringe others’ rights or break the law; or reproduce substantial parts of the site commercially without our permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Newshound name, design, arrangement and original written summaries are owned by Sesha Systems UK Ltd. Headlines and article extracts remain the property of their respective publishers and are used to identify and link to their reporting. See our Copyright & Takedown page.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sesha Systems UK Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on any content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
